Nicky Whelan was born in 1981. Nicky is an Australian actor and model. She was first known as Pepper Steiger in Australia. Her role in the 100 episodes of the soap opera Neighbors broadcasted between 2006 and 2007 established her as an international sensation in Australia. In Hollywood, she began with two different projects. First was Hollywood & Wine in which she played a young hopeful actress. When she was offered the role of Maya in Scrubs in which she played a very attractive medical student. As a result, the whole series abruptly ended. Then she continued to film a Farrelly Brothers comedy Good to Shoot, starring Jason Sudeikis as well as Owen Wilson. Then she was in B-series movies and series shorts. In 2013, she started to get noticed to a wider audience. After having appeared in six episodes of the drama about detectives Franklin and Bash and landing her first part on the regular cast of the web-series Chosen which starred Milo Ventimiglia, the actress landed a series of projects. Also, she was the answer to Chad Michael Murray in the two first seasons. The following year she was in support parts in two films that feature aircraft scenes. One was Flight 7500 One Way Back on the SyFy Channel along with other television actors and Le Chaos (an action film featuring Nicolas Cage). She's a flight attendant. She is the face of the new show on TV, Matador which she co-stars with Gabriel Luna. The season of 13 episodes is the only thing that's available for this Robert Rodriguez-produced thriller in which actors are CIA agents. However, she continues on with the pilot episode for another TV series. In 2015, she released the first poster of the B-series romantic Borrowed Moments with Brian Krause later, she appeared as a character in comic Witness for Rent worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco.
