At the age 13 of Donaldson started posting YouTube videos under the username "MrBeast6000". His initial content included Let's Plays and videos that estimated other YouTubers' wealth. In 2017, his "counting as high as 100,000" YouTube video went viral. He was 13 years old old and used the handle "MrBeast6000".
