Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz professionally known by the name Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The name of her parents was derived from her hometown. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder is a Jew. Ryder believes that her father is from a Jewish heritage. The actress has a younger brother Uria and two half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder was born in the United States and moved along with her family in Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They was in a house that didn't have electricity. Ryder was a voracious books reader since there was no television. Ryder aged 12 attended the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. In the year she turned 15, Ryder had a chance to play in Lucas, her first major film. Ryder suffered bullying in the high school. Ryder had hoped that her profession acting as a professional would help. However, it didn't come to pass. Her dream was pursued. In 1988 she had her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder kept playing successful roles in numerous films. The actor won two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
