Emily Bett Rickards was born in July 1991. She is an Canadian Actress best known as Felicity in The CW's TV show Arrow. Rickards was raised within British Columbia. Her career began as a child, she introduced herself to dancing and musical theatre hoping to eventually taking on more serious acting. She finished high school earlier than expected and studied at the Vancouver Film School where she was awarded the Acting Essentials Certificate. She auditioned at an open audition after having completed her program. The audition led to her being signed by an agent. Alida Vocal Studio was her home for her studies in Vancouver. Her rapport with Stephen Amell, positive feedback from the audience, as well as her humorous remarks earned her the initial contract for one episode as a Guest Star.
